INSTRUCTIONS DURING TRAY-BASED TEETH WHITENING
PROCEDURE AND SEQUENCE:
- Before beginning whitening, thoroughly brush your teeth. Then, remove the protective cap of the syringe and attach the mixing tip. Apply one portion of the whitening product to each tray. Place the trays with the gel onto the teeth, ensuring correct placement. Remove any excess gel with a tissue, dry brush, or cotton swab.
- After each session, clean your teeth well, rinse the tray with lukewarm water (not hot), and store it in its case. If sensitivity occurs, it’s advised to use a sensitivity-reducing toothpaste.
DURING WHITENING, DO NOT:
- Use other whitening products. Consume citrus fruits, fruit juices, or antacids (these can alter saliva acidity and disrupt or prolong the whitening process), smoke tobacco, or drink coffee, cola, red wine, and other strong staining drinks or foods (as they can delay the whitening process and weaken its effect).
- Drink or eat with the whitening trays in place.
- The product should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women, as no studies have been conducted on the potential side effects of carbamide peroxide on this group.
TIPS:
- Follow the product instructions precisely. If significant sensitivity occurs, discontinue use and consult your dentist.
- Store the product in a dry, cool place (e.g., refrigerator).
- Pay extra attention to thorough oral hygiene during whitening.
- If the trays irritate the gums, ask your dentist for an adjustment.
- Teeth will be noticeably whiter after the treatment, with the final shade settling within two weeks of treatment completion.
- If teeth slightly darken over time, the treatment can be repeated after 6-12 months. For optimal results, try not to interrupt the whitening process. If a break of one or two nights occurs, extend the usage time accordingly.
