WHAT DOES MODERN ORTHODONTIC DIAGNOSTICS INVOLVE, AND IS IT NECESSARY?

Modern dentistry relies on appropriate diagnostic tools. Treatment of even the simplest cases and the most complicated treatment plans start on a computer screen – CBCT, PANORAMIC X-RAYS, DENTAL X-RAYS, and INTRAORAL PHOTOS are often more important than the patient examination itself. Visually, we can assess only about 25-30% of the information needed for diagnosis and treatment planning. The rest is inaccessible without proper radiological examinations. Would you, as a patient, want a dentist to make decisions and plan treatment based only on 30% of the necessary data? Neither do we, which is why at ODONTO Clinic, we use modern and safe radiology in our daily practice.

To put it in perspective – during a flight from Warsaw to Tenerife, you receive a radiation dose equivalent to 4 panoramic X-rays due to altitude and reduced atmospheric protection.
